PUBG Mobile was looking for an engaging format to help promote their mobile game to European audiences.

In this day and age, there are many difficulties in obtaining effective audience engagement within brand integrations on social platforms, which is why having a unique perspective is essential to ensure high levels of engagement and interaction.

Solution

We agreed on a unique and creative format to help aid audience engagement: Hideout Hero - A photo submission style of integration, with users entering a contest where entry requirements include taking a photo of the user hiding within the game itself.

Pairing this style of integration with a giveaway incentive, helped raise a significant level of engagement, with over 12,000 giveaway entries and 1,100 user submissions to Hideout Hero.

Results

Spanning 30 communities, with a total audience reach of over 5.5 million, we amassed an impressive 12,000+ giveaway entries, and over 1,100 content submissions. It is clear that efficient and effective integrations with incentives for interacting come with a higher audience engagement rate.
