Gunzilla Games · Off the Grid
From pre-launch traction to new players.
A year of building traction with Gunzilla Games, followed by a community-led push to bring new players to Off the Grid at launch. Wildfire worked with trusted Discord community managers to turn that groundwork into launch activity.

December 2024 campaign results

The brief
Build on a year of pre-launch work with Gunzilla Games and support player acquisition as Off the Grid launched. The audience plan focused on battle royale and FPS interests, with activity across competitive and broader gaming communities.
The activation
Wildfire coordinated community manager posts and giveaways, including a custom PC giveaway. Creative was adapted to each server rather than distributed as identical advertising copy.
Community managers brought the activity into their own spaces, where members already discussed games, competed and shared recommendations.
The measurement
The December campaign analysis records clicks by community and a client-facing cost per click. The 38,650 total above is the sum of those recorded clicks; the report gives a campaign CPC of $2.59.
A click is not the same as a new player. This case study reports the verified traffic outcome for this flight and does not label clicks as downloads or combine conversion figures from other campaigns.
A year in the making
This campaign was the culmination of a one-year pre-launch strategy developed with Gunzilla Games. The December results shown here cover this flight within that wider programme.
